I started a DJ crew with my neighbors, spinning tracks at birthday parties to fuel my obsession with streetwear and sneakers. In a world dominated by mainstream brands, I chose to stand out—rocking baggy jeans, oversized tees, and my beloved Jordans. Fashion wasn’t just clothing; it was a statement of identity and self-expression.

As I grew, my passion evolved. I started reselling sneakers, trading limited-edition pairs, and using platforms like eBay to connect with fellow enthusiasts. This entrepreneurial spark was always within me, waiting for the right moment to ignite.

A Life-Changing Moment

In 2017, while styling a friend, my father made a simple yet profound suggestion: “You should start a clothing brand.” At the time, I brushed it off, unaware that I was already sketching designs and dreaming of my own fashion line. Then, in 2019, everything changed.

My father suffered a devastating accident—a fall from a roof that resulted in a broken leg, spinal damage, and brain swelling that left him unconscious for four days. The fear and uncertainty were overwhelming, but when he woke up, he looked at me and said words that would alter my path forever:

Don’t waste your time here on earth. It’s not as long as it seems. Make something of your life that you can be proud of. Don’t be timid. Don’t be afraid. Be yourself and believe in yourself. Don’t take no for an answer. If I were to not make it, I would want to look down on you and smile because you made me proud.”

Those words ignited a fire within me. My father’s relentless work ethic and survival mentality inspired the core philosophy of Hunters and Hounds: the hunt for passion, success, and self-expression.
